Hi there,
I am on kubuntu meerkat, using KOrganizer 4.4.6 (Kde 4.5.1). I just found out that birthday calendar is not working any more (Yes, I missed one :'( )
Situation is this: Birthdays calendar is shown in the calendar pane, and it is checked, too. But birthdays are not displayed. I've alreade removed the calendar and added "Birthdays from Address Book" but everything stays the same: Calendar is checked in the calendar pane, but no birthdays entries in organizer. Does anybody has an idea what might be wrong here?

Well, this is how I got this to work:

1) Open kaddressbook
Add an address book. Choose personal contacts.
>>Now all contacts could be found in kaddressbook

2) Open korganizer
Add an calendar
Choose Akonadi
Press "Manage Calendar Sources"
Press "Add"
Choose "Birthdays and Anniversaries"
>> Now all birthdays are there

However: "Add birthdays from kaddressbook" still does not work. And there are no contacts found in kmail when selecting "Default Address Book". I guess these two are related.
