I seem to have tried out ALL possibilities available when printing a month view in landscape mode under KOrganizer. The printout always shows the landscape view several lines below the top of a page and then obviosly cut off on the right edge. Any hints? :o

Do other applications print Landscape correctly? This sounds like a CUPS misconfiguration.

Yes, I just tried it under OpenOffice 3.2.1. "Landscape" works as designed there.

What about from another Qt4/KDE4 application?

I tried to print "landscape" in Kate. Same effect. Printing starts only roughly one third down the "portrait" page and obviously has to cut off longer lines.

Which version of KDE are you using? Can you make sure the Paper size is correct in Properties if it is present? ( Shown on the print dialog )

I can print Landscape in most applications, but I too can't find any way to print the month view of KOrganizer in landscape. Like the original poster, I get it printer portrait-aligned, about 1/3 of the way down the page, and cut off at the right margin. There is definitely a problem with this.

Since I always seem to see this when I'm in a tearing hurry, I haven't remembered to check whether a bug report has been filed. If you find one, please post the number here. If you don't, please post a bug report, give us the number and I'll confirm that I see it too.

It's strange that obviously not too many people are printing their calendars! Yes the paper dimension (A4) is shown with correct measurements in the printing dialogue (width: 297,04 by height: ) 209,9 mm. I hope this is cleared up soon. I have to hand my schedules to my wife! ;D

Does a PDF print properly? You can then use Okular to print that if it works. If it doesn't work, you have a bug in KOrganizer.

Thanks a lot for your advice! Yes, printing to PDF and then actually printing using Acroread/Okular works fine. So, there is a bug in KOrganizer. Regards from Salzburg.

I cannot print landscape in Okular though there is a discussion about a possible fix in bugzilla; so the issues may be linked.

I have installed KPDF expressly to handle this problem.

This is very interesting, and highlights that the issue may be more complex than originally thought. Has a bug report been filed at bugs.kde.org?

I would have to have a look at whether a bug report has been filed. I haven't done so so far myself.

I have now upgraded my Debian system to Wheezy, KDE 4.6.3 development platform and korganizer 4.4.11. Printing STILL does not function in landscape mode... So, I still have to create a pdf-file and then print it using acroread or similar... (annoying!)
