Hi,
I've recently switched to KDE 4.6 beta 1. Everything seems working fine (for beta-standards), but akonadi is giving an error-message every few minutes like that: Select failed, server replied: A000225 NO Unknown Mailbox: ( now in authenticated state ) ( Failure ) [ Google Mail ] This seems to happen at all directories of googlemail which contain no messages but only subdirectories. If I remove the subscription to this directories I also loose the subscription to its subdirectories. Is anyone using googlemail with akonadi without problems? Is this a bug? Greets |

I'm using Gmail (googlemail in Germany?) and I get no such message :S
Time to fill a bug report? Regards

Yes it is called "Google Mail" in Germany because "GMail" was a registered trademark already (if you are interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gmail#Germany)
I don't know if it is a bug if it is working for you, do you have any special settings? Which subscriptions have you set? My version is 4.5.80 (openSUSE 11.3, KDE:Distro:Factory), does is match yours? |

I don't recall setting anything in special. I am subscribed to almost all the folders (in fact, all but "All Mail"). I'm currently running 4.5.80 from the kde-unstable Archlinux repository. Did you migrate from your previous settings or you started from blank? Regards

I migrated from thwe previous settings. I will try to use the same googlemail-account in a clean user-home-directory tomorrow to see if it would help |

I have tested it today and here are my results:
New user with clean home-folder: Everything is working fine without such messages. My user, removed googlemail in akonadi and added it again: I got this messages again ![]() Have you an idea which setting could be relevant? Perhaps I really should report it as a bug. |
