Hi, where can I find the list of directives like "%QUOTE" that can appear in a template?
Can the signature be defined in this way? If I click "Insert signature above quoted text" the signature appears above ALL the text in my templates. This is not what I want. Ideally I'd like a template like ====================== Start of template ==================== %REM="Default new message template"%- Hi %TOFNAME, %CURSOR Cheers, David %SIGNATURE ========== end of template ================ for a new message and ====================== Start of template ==================== %REM="Default reply template"%- Hi %OFROMFNAME, %CURSOR Cheers, David %SIGNATURE On %ODATE %OTIMELONG you wrote: %QUOTE ========== end of template ================ In the reply to case I want the signature in the middle. Can this be achieved if there isn't a "%SIGNATURE" directive? |

At least in KMail 2, there is an "Insert Command" drop down, which allows you to see the full list of what is available.

I know about that drop down menu. It cannot be a complete list though - for instance there is no way to get "%QUOTE" to appear. So I'm wondering what else is available but does not appear in this menu.

I suggest asking the kde-pim mailing list: kde-pim@kde.org.

I've just upgraded to openSUSE 11.4. kmail now has a %SIGNATURE directive and the list seems more complete.
