Hello, akonadi never starts when I launch kmail, so kmail starts and quit when I agree with the selftest report by clicking on 'Cancel'. However, kmail still launches properly the second time I try to launch it.

I assume maybe it's because akonadictl was not started enough soon before kmail, but I'm not sure.

Could you try to help me ?

Do you have Nepomuk (not Strigi) enabled? If you don't, please enable it.

Also, try running the following as part of startup: "akonadictl start"

Which version? Early 4.4.x releases had a problem of not detecting the start of Akonadi correctly.

Has been fixed in 4.4.5 or 4.4.6 if I remember correctly.
