I wound up nuking all of the directories and migrating all my emails over manually. Only one problem: during the time that I was unable to launch Kmail, it pulled some of my emails off of the server. Trouble is I have no idea where it put them; they're not anywhere in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail. I assume that Kmail2 has a new home for them, but I have no idea where that would be. I didn't actually delete any of the directories i nuked, so if anyone knows where my missing emails are hiding please, let me it on it!

Unfortunately I don't know where it is in this case, however it will be under ~/
I suggest using "find" to look for a file/folder by the name of "inbox" (case insensitively)
