I updated yestarday kmail (and all other kde packages as well) to 4.6.0 and email messages and folder are messed up!

First of all now I have 2 folder: KMail and Local inbox and each of them contains inbox, trash, outbox, sentmail. Which is the default one? It is like all emails goes to KMail/inbox and Local inbox/inbox but when I delete messages they goes to Local inbox/trash.

Anyone knows which folder should I deleted please?


Last thing: migration process was ok but filters are gone and I have to set them again.

Do you mean that when a new mail arrives, then this email exists into the kmail folder and into the local folder at the same time? If yes, then do you use any filter? And if you want to change the folder in which the deleted mails go, then open kmail and settings->configure kmail->accounts->receiving->modify->imap settings->trash folder
