I have no idea how anything has changed, but I now see this issue all the time. Whenever I send mail using KMail, the message has all the line breaks stripped out in clients like Outlook and GMail (web).

This has forced me to switch to Evolution, which does not have the same issue. However, Evolution is very, very limited in terms of customizability compared with KMail. I truly wish I could continue using KMail for work because honestly, KMail is 100 times better than Evolution except for this one bug.
