Strange GMail error on KMail

Thu Feb 10, 2011 1:11 pm
Since yesterday I'm having a strange error on KMail while retrieving GMail mail. Error looks like this:
Code: Select all
GMail: Select failed, server replied: A000255 NO Unknown Mailbox: (now in authenticated state) (Failure) [Gmail]

This only started to appear yesterday after extensive use of Chrome on Windows. Could it be that Chrome, being Googles browser changed something on my GMail account that this is happening now?
Because this is more or less only explanation I can think of.

(The other thing could be updating mysql to 5.5, but that was days ago. And only thing I noticed after it was that Akonadi got more resource needy, and used more memory.)

Unusual, are you trying to interact with the [Gmail] folder? Restarting Akonadi, or removing and adding the resource again may help here.

Yeah I think it was because of Akonadi in tray that gave the error.
Because I was getting this error every five minutes, while checking GMail for new mail. But since I stopped Akonadi in tray, the error stoped appearing.
