Hey there every one

I am here using Fedora 14 with kde 4.5.5 and i have kdepim suite .
I wanted to know how i can send mails from my local machine using kmail .

I have installed postfix and configured it as the wiki says and want to use it to send emails from my local machine .

Postfix uses its own built-in sendmail. You will need to specify the smtp server - whether your own if you know how to set it up, or your ISP's - in /etc/postfix/transport, then, as root and in /etc/postfix, issue the command "postmap transport".

KMail supports this as far as I can see. Open KMail > Settings > Configure KMail > Accounts > Sending. Press "Add" and select "Sendmail" in the dialog which opens.
