I've been setting up my e-mails, calendar and contacts to the new kdepim-4.6 lately.

All seems to work well, except that Kmail can be slow updating or filtering big e-mail folders (> 10k e-mails). It's probably normal that big e-mail folders can be slow working with, but still, are there options that I can change, for example in the MySQL configuration, to speedup Kmail?

PS., I'm using an external MySQL-database (Akonadi is sharing it with Amarok), but I don't think this would make a difference.
