I'm a little bit confused about Akonadi support in KMail and I couldn't find any concrete Information about this on google.
In current version I noticed that u can use Akonadi to share contact Information. Will KMail also be able to store email messages in MySQL through Akonadi?
Or is it already implemented?

The currently unreleased KMail 4.6 will feature Akonadi support.
