Hi
I have a mail account from the university which i access with imap. i have several computers and other mail accounts and the goal would be to have a local folder on every computer with all the messages from all the accounts, but the messages still available in the web interfaces. what i've tried is to add a filter in kmail to make a copy of incoming messages from the imap account to the local folder. it works on the side of the computer, but it also generates a unwanted copy of the message on the imap server. with the next computer i'll copy them again, and again... how can i avoid this copy? is there any other possibility to achieve my goal? cheers roman |

You could be using an account of type Disconnected IMAP. This will create a local cache of all mails on your IMAP server and synchronize between that and the server.
