Hello.

I am going to partition my HDD anew so I would like to know if information given on http://userbase.kde.org/Kontact is still up to date. I mean, whether files listed in ‘Migrating your setup to a new distro’ section still relate to stable KDE PIM (4.4?).

I just want to make sure that everything will be successful.

As far as I know nothing has changed since then. My advice would be to back up the whole of ~/.kde(4) and ~/.local. That should ensure that if you have lost anything at all you can restore it.
