I run Debian Wheezy, KDE 4.6.3 development platform and KOrganizer 4.4.11. Everything worked o.k. up to yesterday. The only thing that happened was an aptitude update/upgrade since then. I don't remember WHAT was updated but it must have done something to KOrganizer. At the moment, it starts, I see my calendar window for a fraction of a second and then it crashes. Could somebody please have a look at the latest changes? I REALLY depend on KOrganizer (Of course I know I should not be using "bleeding edge" software versions - but that doesn't help me at the moment!). Thanks and regards.posting.php?mode=post&f=20#

Please run "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental" and ensure that your packages are upgraded fully.

If it still crashes, run KOrganizer in Konsole and examine the output it gives prior to crashing.

Trying to start korganizer from a konsole I get the following output...

kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental returns the following output on the console. KOrganizer still crashes the same way on startup.

Does DrKonqi show up after KOrganizer crashes? If so, could you please generate a backtrace (available under Developer Information) and post that here?

As I mentioned earlier on, I have already filed a bug report (#276308) including a backtrace. Any progress?

I now deleted korganizerrc and the crash does not happen again...

Please mention that on the bug report. If you still have a copy of korganizerrc available, please attach it as well after checking it for any passwords.
