I have set up akonadi ressources to sync contacts & agenda with Google data.

Akonadi crashes when the computer starts, as well as when I restart it.
And, I guess it might be related, even though akonadi ressources are sayed to be ready in the Akonadi config page, I can't sync my Kontact Agenda with the Google one...

what can be done?

you need to provide your distro and your version of KDE

run kdebugdialog and deselect all then search and select any with akonadi, restart kde|computer|akonadi and then after it crashes open the file ~/.xsession-errors and see if there's an explaination for your crashes

I run KDE 4.4.6, and Kontact 4.4.8 on a LinuxMint 9 KDE.

I sort of solved the crash issue of Akonadi by unchecking the "Resume session" in the config system settings: I don't have any error message anymore.

I still have to address the 2-ways sync of Kontact and Google data - but this is another story
