First of all a big thank you to all KDE contributors who developed and maintained Kontact. I have been using it for over 6 years and I loved it.

Kmail 2.x is not for me mainly for performance reasons. I switched to Thunderbird and would like to delete config and data files.

I plan to delete this directory.

/home/vikram/.local/share/akonadi

Do I need to delete anything else ?

Thanks,
Vikram

thanks Toad. Wanted to make sure nothing will break once I delete it. I have cron jobs to take incremental and full backups of my home directory periodically and my mail is over 2 GB so I dont wantmultiple copies of it. Also my next step is to uninstall Akonadi and Nepomuk.
