Using Kubuntu 11.04 and Kmail 1.13.6 with KDE 4.6.2
Hi Forum, I've just been setting up Kmail with several POP3 accounts but I saw that all the mail was going into the Local Folders / Inbox folder. I then found out how to create sub-folders that I could direct the mail into. I made the folders and then ran some send / receive tests. ALL mails (from 9 accounts) are ending up in the Trash folder and I can't for the life of me see why this is happening ! Anybody got any ideas on this one ? Many thanks, semper-linux |

Can you please show the rules/filters that you created?

Hi Forum,
Thanks 'bcooksley' for the reply. I haven't (intentionally) set up any filters or rules - I don't think I have set up any accidentally either. There's certainly nothing in Message / Apply filter. I don't know if this is a 'rule' but I simply directed incoming mail to go into its respective folder which doesn't happen. I created the folders from a forum post that said simply copy and re-name the 'default' folder which is what I did. Many thanks, semper-linux |

Ok, I can't see why this is happening, unless you appointed the Trash folder as the default folder for new mail (from a particular resource) to be recieved into.
