I tried to google to find advice for my problem, but everything I found relates to older versions of kmail, and I don't want to make things worse by experimenting...

I run kmail 4.7.0 on Gentoo, basically no issues except that it crashes quite often when I log off without explicitly closing kontact before, and I can live with that.

But yesterday, I cleaned up my mails, and in the course of this job, I moved some subfolders via drag & drop fromone folder to the other. This worked quite well between different accounts (disconnected IMAP enabled) - but within one and the same account, a few folders got lost.

I would assume thy still exist and only the link / connection / reference is lost - but I don't know all this nepomuk / strigi / akonadi stuff at all and have no idea where to look and what to do next.

Could I get some advice for recommendable next steps?
