I am using KDE 4.7.0 and Akonadi 1.6.0.

In Kmail I have an imap server (named xayn) which has a self signed certificate.
This imap server also provides Kolab groupware folders which Akonadi uses as a resource.

Each time I start KDE the following dialog appears

If I click on Detail I see the following information.

If I click on Continue the following Dialog appears.

I usually click on "Forever".

However after starting Kmail, the same dialog appears three more times and after rebooting the dialog appears again.



History of this problem:
I used KDE-PIM 4.4 for a long time and everything worked fine.
After I updated to KDE-PIM 4.6 the problem appeared.
I already updated to KDE-PIM 4.7.0 (problem still exits)
I already /home/matthias/.kde4/share/config/ksslcertificatemanager (problem still exits)
I already deleted my /home/matthias/.kde4 and configured KDE from scratch (problem still exits)

It could be related to Bug233628. However this bug seems to be solved.

Do you have some ideas for the further analysis of this problem?

Wow, I think I solved the problem for me.

My /etc/hosts contains the following line.
192.168.0.234 xayn
In kmail I specified as imap server address just xayn.

After changing the imap server address to 192.168.0.234, it was able to accept the self signed (and issued for example.com) certificate forever.
