Hi all,
does anybody know how to remove akonadi-facebook ressources from akonadi? The problem is, that the facebook-agent is not shown any more after I added it, but all ressources (contacts, events, notes) are still there and I did not find any possibility to remove it from akonadi and the Kontact suite. Thanx in advance. Robby. |

If you enter 'akonadi' into krunner one of the options should be the Akonadi Resource Control window. There you should be able to see all your defined resources and remove those you don't want.

If I start the Akonadi Ressource control, I do not see any of my ressources since 4.7 I guess. If I start Akonadi Configuration, I see the ressources, except the facebook ones. Even if I use Akonadi-Console I see the ressources, but there I cannot delete any of them.
Thus, I have no idea how to remove. I dont want to play with random config files, as I dont know exactly what to change there. Perhaps somebody has another idea... |

can anybody check, whether there is already an open bug in kde's bugtracker?
When I have some time, I also will check and post it. If somebody is faster please post here... |

Does Akonadi print any messages as to why these resources cannot be removed into ~/.xsession-errors? You may need to enable all Debug areas using "kdebugdialog".

Here the output...

by the way...trying to remove the ressource via akonadiconsole, it is not possible as the context menu entry is grayed.

You probably want to file a bug against the resource then, as the ability to remove it is determined by the resource itself.

The problem with the facebook-ressource is, that I compiled it from source. If I reinstall the system without prior removal of the akonadi-agent the entries from that ressource remain, cannot be deleted and if I freshly compile and add the agent, I have two each entry.
Can't I remove it manually in a settings-file? |

I was looking for a setting file, but nothing...please someone can give some information?

The settings files in question will be located under ~/.config/akonadi I believe.

I have tried to delete some items in that directory and restarting akonadi.
No effect: old addressbook and calendar are always there and I cannot delete both of them. |
