Anyone having succes using kmail2 with pop3 accounts? I'd love to hear about it!
My issues were: * My storage is NOT an account. Please. * Could not import all my mail, in 5 attempts. * Filtering was broken in multiple ways- * The annoying conflict dialog - worse than windows 95! * Doing anything at all with mails - deleting, moving - was VERY slow. * indexing would never end * It was about impossible to not get the unfortunate .local/share/local-mail folder. * fetching mail was very slow Probably more that I luckily forgot. But does it work for you? Fast and flawless like the old kmail? In kmail as I know it, deleting or moving or filtering mail is fast and efficient. It is very stable, and all my mail is where I expect it. I would very much like to upgrade, because in other areas of kdepim there are great improvements. But I need mail to work! So does kmail2 with pop3 work for you? What did you do to achieve that? |
