hi guys,
I've a strange behaviour of akregator since I've changed my router: Dlink dsl-2740b Akregator needs many minutes to fetch rss feed, on the contrary thunderbird does not seem to be affected by this strange behaviour. With others network, so different router, I don't have this problem. I'm using kde 4.6.2 wicd (NetworkManager does not work too) and KDEPIM 4.4.11 with akregator 1.6.6 Thanks

Very odd. I cannot see _any_ connection between akregator's behaviour and your choice of router - I mean none!
Have you tried using the old one again to confirm that it is down to the router?

Only things I could think of is DNS issues. KDE had issues in the past with certain routers stuffing up DNS requests, so this router may be doing it.
To see if it is, try browsing the web in Konqueror. If it is slow, then it is probably the stuffed DNS at fault. Using Google Public DNS, OpenDNS, or retrieving your ISP's DNS servers from the router and setting those as static DNS servers on your system should solve the issue. Sometimes the router will also allow you to specify some of the DHCP response settings, in which case just specify them there directly so your computers bypass the router for DNS.
