I've got an up-to-date KDE 4.7.0 on openSUSE 11.4 64bit using Kontact (and components) 4.7.0.
When I'm taking my laptop off the docking station e.g. for watching a movie, I do not want any applications running, which I do not need. As I'm switching off all network connection (lan and wlan), I also terminate Akonadi via `akonadictl stop`. (that terminating the IMAP resources takes ages is another problem) Prior to this command, I need to quit Kontact, but when I terminate it via "File"->"Quit" it keeps running in the background and I need to terminate it by sending SIGNAL TERM. Is this rather a bug or a feature? Cheers, tk |
