I have a google resourc for the contacts list in kaddressbook, but lately i realized that it did nt synchronized with google's contacts. I added a new one and it the synchronisation works.
I want to delete the first one but it is impossible. I tried different ways, kaddressbook doesnt delete it, i deleted the files in /apps/kabc in my home, i deleted the files in .config/akonadi/the name of the resource, but it is always appears in kaddressbook |

Of course, distros and versions can vary, but in my Fedora 4.6 I would delete it through System Settings > Personal Information > Contacts (from the combibox). Highlight the faulty one, and Remove.

first i wanted to delete it from there but i could nt because it must be a standard resource present. I made another resource and i did the first one, but i still have the contacts in my address book. The name of the resource is akonadi_googledata_resource_6 and i would like to find out where it is living in my system

Those error messages are extremely concerning, and indicate that your system has had significant version changes in MySQL, and has permission problems. Please ensure that your user owns *all* files and folders below $HOME for your user.
You may wish to try "akonadiconsole" and try using that to remove the defective resource. Note that if you have not restarted Akonadi since removing the resource configuration files, you may need to do that first.

Hi
I have exactly the same issue here (can't delete various akonadi resources -calendars, addressbooks, ...- I can only add new ones). I guess it's a problem of rights on personal files but i was unable to find a solution (though i'v been searching the web for weeks). Can you please give me your solution when you find one ? Thank you Dansei |
