Hallo,

I installed Ktimetracker after a KDE upgrade to 4.7.1. When I want to launch it (no matter if via Kontact or by kick-off launcher) Ktimetracker is unable to remember the iCalander file and asks me to open this file first.

The terminal gives me the following output:

~> ktimetracker
WARNING!
ktimetracker(26450) KSambaSharePrivate::testparmParamValue: We got some errors while running testparm "Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf

I'm using openSuse11.4 64bit and Kernel 3.0.3-3

Thank you for reply

After this Update from KDE 4.7.0 to KDE 4.7.1 KMail crashes, when I want to create a new message:

~> kmail
kmail2(24775)/kdeui (Wallet): The kwalletd service has been disabled
~> kmail2(24775): No language dictionaries for the language : "de"

kmail: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libkmailprivate.so.4: undefined symbol: _ZN7Message4Util21cleanedUpHeaderStringERK7QString

I installed the kde4-ln10-4.7.1 rpm files and that problem remained. I also uninstalled the KTimetracker and it did not help.

Than, I want to apologize for the stupid forum name "SimpleQuestion" ;)

Hope for reply!

I have a similar problem in kubuntu oneiric

here is my bug report in launchpad

There are "several" bugs but I don't really know if I should make a report for each one so let's go:
Try to start ktimetracker I get a nice windows saying
"Could not create the KTimeTracker part."
gives me a nice empty box. If I open it from the console:
QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 2
QPainter::setCompositionMode: Painter not active
QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 2
Object::connect: No such slot TimetrackerWidget::updateTabs()
Object::connect: No such slot ktimetrackerpart::keyBindings()
Object::connect: (sender name: 'options_configure_keybinding')

second bug
Open Kontact go to ktimetracker
1. /home/yannis/.kde/share/apps/ktimetracker/ktimetracker.ics:
Could not save. Disk full?
if I create a new calendar and save it to a different location it works, within kontact, but doesn't remember it was opened the next time I open kontact

2. Saved Calendar from previous version doesn't get recognized/transformed to new api (all trackers are at 0)
