I have set up KDE to use Akonadi resource as default address book, as described here.
In KAddressBook I have created few address books with some contacts each. When composing new e-mail in Kmail, I can select recipients from Address Book. New window pops up and I can choose "All", "Akonadi Address Book", "Distribution Lists", "Recent Addresses" and "Selected Recipients". Under "Akonadi Address Book", all contacts from all my KAddressBook address books are on one list. This behavior makes address books pretty pointless. Why organize all contacts into different address books, if KMail will merge them up into one list? I would expect to see all my address books on drop-down list, each showing only contacts from itself. Perhaps I am missing something obvious. Could anyone please tell me, how set Kmail/KAddressBook/Akonadi the way I would expect? One address book is vcard file, while another is vcard dir. The last one ("Default Address Book") perhaps is in database. Under properties it shows no filepath.
I am using daily updated Debian testing. Thanks in advance for all your tips.
Best regards
