I have to migrate from kmail3.5 to kmail4.7
I have all messages in dir: ~/Mail

I have to migrate: messages, accounts, filters, contacts

is there a way to do this?

I tried to migrate on two computers.

both a nightmare (lost mail (I had backups), moved
mail to strange new locations, accounts had to be
setup manually, filter had to be re-setup, and only
work sporadically)

I think it might be OK if you started from scratch
and did not try migration, but overall I don't think
kmail2 is ready yet

I switched to thunderbird - breath of fresh air

I found how migrate messages and filters ...


but no accounts



p.s.
and I havent found where messages are stored

can you explain why I have 90MB of mail-messages

but I have only 16k in /home/sacarde/.local/share/local-mail ?
