Kaddressbook lost contacts 11.10 upgrade

I just upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10, using the Kpackage kit nesktop notification and "start upgrade now". Now when I open Kaddressbook the contacts list is empty.

I have a backup but it's not completely current. Can someone tell me where Kaddressbook stores it's database, and/or how I recover it?

If you used an older version it would be here...

/home/username/.kde/share/apps/kabc/

If using Akonadi it would be here...

/home/username/.local/share/akonadi/

At least that's how I have come to understand it.
