I recently upgraded my Kubuntu from 11.04 to 11.10 and the new version features an upgraded KMail. The version I now use is marked as 4.7.2.
Previously I could easily have multiple email accounts in the application. When I wrote a new email it allowed me to choose which account to send from - each account had its own SMTP and IMAP servers. With this new version I can read and receive email messages properly, but I can only reply from one of the accounts. If I try to reply to a message in the other account, the primary SMTP server seems to be used, and it returns an error (as it should). When I changed "default SMTP server" to the other one, that one worked but not the other one. How do I fix so that I can send emails and reply to emails in both accounts? I used the new wizard to set them both up. |

The way I set this up, I use identities. Each identity uses different transports (smtp servers) and so, I can just hit reply and send it off and the correct smtp server is used.
