I've hit a brick wall.

Ever since I migrated to kmail 2, I've had real problems. Filters haven't been filing sent items in folders, as requeted, any more. E-mails are dissapearing, now I've lost my whole sent folder.

I've been trying to fix this but I'im just not on top of the changes that have been made.

Can someone please tell me how to reset kmail so it works, in a manner which will hopefully save me from having to re-enter a shed load of filters, and will also keep my nearly a decades worth of kmail.

You could try to reset akonadi as detailed here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=96124

This will only affect data like tags and which emails have been marked read, it won't delete any of your messages.
