I am familiar enough with KDE's setup to change the calendar system to Hebrew or some other option, as an alternative to Gregorian; this is fine and dandy, if you wanted to use such a system. But suppose I was contrarian enough to want to use the Julian calendar, or Mayan calendar, or the Discordian calendar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discordian_calendar), or to make up a calendar of my own and use that.
How would I go about adding the calendar to the Regional settings? Or, for that matter, add that calendar to the Linux system altogether, independent of KDE? So far, my attempts to Google the answer to that question have fallen flat. Thus, I would appreciate any answers I can get! (And yes, I am contrarian enough to have made my own calendar, though I haven't yet written a calculator that matches it with the Gregorian Calendar we all know and love.) |
