After an automatic upgrade from Kmail 4.7.2 to 4.7.3 I have lost the ability to read any emails.

The system seems to syncronize but hangs with

"Retrieving Folder Contents - Please wait..."

well, after waiting for 10 hours one should assume that should be enough.

Any help would be appreciated.

Any advice re another - working - PIM would also be appreciated, I am now really fed up with this Kmail nightmare. I have lost my belief that this will ever come to an acceptable end.
