I'd like to use a software that will sync my Google Tasks, Calendar, and E-mail. I tried to google how to sync Kontact but most results seemed unclear. Has anyone had any luck with this?

E-mail works but with the other two parts of the question I also did not have any luck. It seemed that I did it right as in http://www.stealthcopter.com/blog/2010/ ... g-akonadi/ but it does not work. I think it is broken in Kontact.

E-mail works, with the normal setup for E-mail accounts. There you need to set up an identity and then the mailaccount. An IMAP access would be the best.

Personal opinion: it is a hassle to do that in Kontact. And if something goes wrong you will have a hard time to find out what went wrong and how to fix it. As everything is connected to Akonadi, Kwallet and whatnot else. If I were you, I would use a different mailprogram.
