Greetings.
I found that my kmail searches only in old letters. Any information in new ones (approximately starting from 2012) is ignored in search results. I suppose it happened after upgrade from OpenSuse 11.4 to 12.1. But I'm not sure. Does anyone have the same problem? Best regards, Aleksey. |

Which version of KDE are you running?
Also, have you done anything to disable Nepomuk indexing, or otherwise disable Nepomuk (other than disabling the "File indexer" - that is perfectly fine).

Thank you for your reply.
I use KDE 4.7.4 installed from: http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... SUSE_12.1/ I didn't try to disable nepomuk. The only unusual thing I did was the deletion of ~4000 letters in kmail. That time the mail server (mail.ru) surprisingly marked all letters as new and kmail downloaded them. I had to delete these letters because they were a duplicates of the ones stored on my laptop. Best regards, Aleksey. |

Unusual. Is the Nepomuk feeder agent present in the list of agents in Akonadi Console?

Yes. When I start akonadiconsole I see Nepomuk Email Feeder on Agents tab.
Details: Identifier: akonadi_nepomuk_email_feeder Type: Nepomuk EMail Feeder Status: Offline, Idle Status message: Автономный режим (from Russian - autonomous work) Capabilities: Unique, Search, Autostart Mimetypes: message/rfc822, message/news When I entered browser tab I notices, that in my Inbox there're a number of messages which have an empty fields on RDF tab. There's something like threshold: the message with ID 5741 has some RDF info, and the next one with ID 17494 doesn't. |

By the way, is it possible to make akonadi/nepomuk rescan all my mails?

The Nepomuk feeder should not be Offline, please use the Akonadi Console to start it. This should trigger the indexing to commence.

Thanks for advice. I don't know why, but email feeder constantly turns off-line. I have to turn it online in akonadiconsole every time I reboot. It says (in akonadiconsole) that the system is busy and email indexing is suspended.

Can you please examine ~/.xsession-errors to see if there is any evidence of why the email indexing agent is shutting itself down / crashing?
