Hello!

I would like to install simon under Linux Mint 12. I tried, but I failed:

I tried to install simon 0.3, and then the development version. In both cases, I got error messages.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Regards, Ralf

The problem has been solved. I installed "libasound2-dev" and “libqwt-dev”. simon (development version) is working now.

Hi Ralf,

Good to hear from you again!
I'm glad you got it working.

I merged a pretty big change yesterday so depending on when you checked out your code you might be using it already (version: 0.3.80). If you do, please report any bugs that you find (either on bugs.kde.org or per mail - you still have my address). It's not that well tested yet so I'm assuming there are a lot of 'em :)

Best regards,
Peter
