When I log into the KDE I get an error message that the touchpad has not been detected.

My computer system is 9 years old ( custom built with quality parts, still running strong ). I don't have a touchpad to detect.

Is there an easy way to turn this error message off?

see in systemsettings -> input devices -> touchpad, maybe there it can be disabled (don't know because it's blank for me - no touchpad)
