hi,

currently my right hand is disabled so i configured my mouse buttons to be left handed. and i see a problem.

i use mouse gestures with left (3) mouse buttons. gestures itself works with left handed mouse but if they are enabled i can't quite use my 3 mouse button in application window for instance to get context menu in dolphin. if i disable mouse gestures everything goes back to normal.

can someone confirm this issue for me?

Hmm. I gather context menu clicking (normally right click, but I guess it is left click in your case) is not working?
Does reconfiguring the mouse gestures help here?

swaped buttons and gestures = problem. it simply prohibits using button configured for mouse gestures for standard application tasks like invoking context menu in dolphin or rekonq. at least for me

Can you please run "kdebugdialog" and enable all areas, then tail the file ~/.xsession-errors and see what is output when you attempt to trigger a gesture?

i'm using 3 mouse button. typicaly this is rmb but in my case left since i swaped 1 and 3 button.

ps interesting; i can get rmb working if i will hold it pressed for a moment, and clicky normaly after that.

pps i setted lower time limit (100 ms vs 500 ms) and it almost work. in rekonq i have to use double rmb to get context menu and a double lmb outside of it area to hide it. in dolphin it takes single click to show menu and double to hide.

oh, i just turned gestures off. i can only hope this can be fixed in the future.

Can you please file a bug report about this at bugs.kde.org? This will make the developer(s) of the gestures component aware of this.

Same problem here. I can't switch mouse buttons and use mouse shortcuts together.

Has this bug been reported ?
