i found it is a gnome terminal 1.4.0.4 1998 1999, i thought that was an os, but i was told it's not, just part of, so how does one fins the os, i can only find system , not system information.

we are trying to find the flash drive, is there a path to find this, how do you find what linux version is on this system?
tks

in gnome terminal run the command
Code: Select all
lsb_release -a

ps if your default terminal application is gnome terminal then you probably aren't running KDE but Gnome

also you do release that what you're running could be 14 years old based on the gnome terminal version you are running

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x
