Hello,
I try to run simon on a robot with ubuntu 14.04. The installation of simon and the dependencies worked without errors. When I connect to simond, it is stuck at 20% for multiple minutes and fails with an error log. I am aware of the threads : viewtopic.php?f=216&t=121887 viewtopic.php?f=216&t=124205 I didn´t want to ressurect them, therefore I made a new one (I hope this is ok). System: Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit simon 4.1.0 german voxforge speech model sphinxtrain The compilation is stuck at 20% until this error log is shown:
I tried to check the recordings in "Manage training data". In my opinion, the files were correct (I could hear my voide clearly). Unlike the 2nd thread, my filenames appear to be ok, too (not mangled). I also opened the files of .kde/share/apps/simon/model/training.data with aplay and they played correctly. .kde/share/apps/simon/model/training.data $ ll
It appears that .kde/share/apps/simon/model/prompts is also "readable":
My locale outputs are: locale
locale -a
I have added a shadow vocabulary and a small active one. It is ok to redo all the recordings and so on, but what do I have to change? - the system language/encoding? Or just the encoding of the word list? Do I have to reinstall simon? Best Regards, Florian Update ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tried everything the same way on a clean ubuntu installation on a laptop. I experience the same error. I installed Simon and Simond using the apt-get method - do I have to add simon to the $PATH manually? I use the german sphinx acoustic model from voxforge - last modified 12-12-12 Is there a better one? For the shadow dicitonary I use the german voxforge dict from 2014-11-17 The error is occuring when I try to adapt the used base model. On the base model without training simon works. |
