1) Pressing four keys just to type a letter is too much. I want to make it easier by just using two keys that are closer to each other for a better experience. I don't want to change the keyboard into Castilian/Basque layout.

I currently use:

ComposeKey + ~ + N = ñ

Is there anyway to tweak this combination into:

Code: Select all

ShiftKey + N =  Ñ

2) Is it possible to tweak it from:
/usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose
