I installed fcitx via Synaptic (KDE Neon), including its dependencies. Then I noticed, the icon for selecting the keyboard input and its menu look out of place, see the following screenshot:



As you can see, the menu and the keyboard icon look non native to KDE. Strange thing is, that it looked normal before but upon rebooting it change to this new and strange look.
Any way I can get my "normal" keyboard icon and menu back?

Anyone who can help me?

I found out that I get the normal KDE integrated icon and menu when I simply close fcitx and restart it. But on every boot I get the icon you can see in my first post.
