Country borders

Thu May 10, 2012 11:43 am
Hi,

as I see country borders are loaded in
http://api.kde.org/4.8-api/kdeedu-apido ... ource.html
s_countries->load( MarbleDirs::path( "mwdbii/PDIFFBORDER.PNT" ) );

but not associated with countries' names.

So if I need country borders associated with country name, I need a kml file with these data. Am I right?

I ask this because I have to put several placemarks within the borders of each country so that these placemarks do not overlap in best case.
Thanks.

Using KML would be a possible approach indeed. :)

See e.g.

https://developers.google.com/kml/docum ... states.kml

which should display the us states like this:
