Hey,
With all the storms going on the East Coast with Hurricane Sandy I thought about finding some real-time weather images either from MODIS (NASA WorldWind) or NWS Dopplar (Google Earth), sadly neither options seem to be working. Any ideas? Tried the following - 1) WMS. Create A New Map >> WMS Servers >> (from here http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/Avail ... FS+servers ) >> All of them end with Wizard Cannot Parse Response. 2) NWS KMZ/KML Files >> Open File >> No Error, but nothing happens. http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/kmzgenerator.php http://www.srh.noaa.gov/gis/kml/ Any help is appreciated. |

If you enable debugging output (run kdebugdialog and enable all areas) and watch the console output when running Marble, is anything relevant to the above output?

As far as I remember we don't handle all WMS possibilities yet. I filed Bug #309208 in the hope that Utku (who did much of the work on the wizard) takes a look at it.

I just saved a generated KMZ file, unzipped it and had a quick look at it: The KML mostly makes use of a ScreenOverlay and a NetworkLink. Both of these tags are currently not supported.

I saw the bug report, I will take a look at that as soon as possible. |
