Can't believe no tilt!

Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:33 pm
Gentlemen,
I can't believe there is no way to tilt the globe! E.g., the orientation in
http://www.warmpicture.com/stock-photos ... 30414.html
simply a globe tilted 23 degrees, looked at from the side.

That's the ugly truth not mentioned on
http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdeedu/ma ... start.html :
the equator is firmly attached to the most left and most right sides of the image,
with no way to change things.
One can do all kinds of spins but note how the equator is fixed to the two sides of the screen no matter what.

Yup, even the most simple
Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2">
  <Document>
    <Camera>
      <longitude>0</longitude>
      <latitude>0</latitude>
      <altitude>20000000</altitude>
      <roll>23.3</roll>
      <altitudeMode>absolute</altitudeMode>
    </Camera>
  </Document>
</kml>

cannot be achieved.
One notes in "Google Earth" one merely needs to grab at the sky to enable getting more roll (or tilt as I called it above.)
