Gentlemen,
I can't believe there is no way to tilt the globe! E.g., the orientation in http://www.warmpicture.com/stock-photos ... 30414.html simply a globe tilted 23 degrees, looked at from the side. |

That's the ugly truth not mentioned on
http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdeedu/ma ... start.html : the equator is firmly attached to the most left and most right sides of the image, with no way to change things. One can do all kinds of spins but note how the equator is fixed to the two sides of the screen no matter what. |

Yup, even the most simple
cannot be achieved. One notes in "Google Earth" one merely needs to grab at the sky to enable getting more roll (or tilt as I called it above.) |
