Hi everybody!

I'm actually using MarbleWidget in my application to display some vectorial data. And it's working well! But now, I'm try to do the same thing with raster data.

I'm actually trying to display some rasters which don't complete a world map. I just want display some area. I know you can do this for small rasters with a KML and the field GroundOverlay. But I'll maybe have need to display large raster too...

Have you a differents solutions, please?

I'm thinking to a custom solution which use the LayerInterface inheritancy. I think I can implement the LayerInterface::render method and use the TextureMapperInterface::mapTexture implementation algorithms depending on the projection to correctly display my raster.

What are you thinking about this solution? Do you think it can work?
