how to change language?

Thu Nov 14, 2013 8:55 am
Hi, I just installed marble in Denmark but I speak English, so, I didn't find option to change language. is it possible or not?
by the way, if software intrude in my system information, does it collect/steal information about computer, webbrowser, etc? do you collect info about users?

Change language only for Marble:
http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kde-runti ... menus-help

Change language for KDE:
http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kde-runti ... -languages

To my knowledge, no KDE software collects any information from your computer for any purposes. The only time information is gathered from your computer is when you submit a bug report using the KDE Crash Handler (and even then, only the backtrace of the crash is submitted) as far as I know.

I did change the language of Marble from French into German. And restart.

After that press F1, the help did come on French

so I did continue and change the language of the help from French into German. And restart

but the manual itself stay on French and continues to stay on French >:D

All that for nothing...

Application languages apply only for the application itself. The help is displayed by a separate application, which must be configured separately. Alternatively, you could change the default language for the entire user account, which can be done in System Settings.
