Hi, I'd like to know more about the synchronization of bookmarks.
I noticed that there is a bug when I try to activate/deactivate a bookmark folder (there is also another bug adding a folder that kills marble, also in the dev version even if another bug has been solved). I tried to debug the code and I saw that commenting the part of synchronization of the bookmarks this problem doesn't exist. In particular I commented the call to:
in
and I it works fine, in fact I can activate/deactivate the bookmarks folders. So, what is this sync? Where are the bookmarks synchronized (in the folder .local/share/marble/bookmarks the bookmark.kml file is removed if I put one) ? Thanks

The marble-qt settings interface doesn't provide a section for the "Synchronization Configuration".
My configuration file had the bookmarks and routes sync active but there wasn't any server configured. I set them to false by hand and now it works fine. |

I've now marked this as solved - none the less, as it causes Marble to crash please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org so the developers can investigate the issue and fix it. It shouldn't be necessary to manually modify the configuration file or adjust the code to get a functional application. Please make sure to mention that you're using the Qt version (and it has no sync configuration options) when filing your report.
