Hi,
Current master version has a number of issues affecting dragging of globe (i.e. spinning the globe). Issue 1 When the globe is zoomed out and the sky is visible, a globe drag will stop as soon as the the mouse cursor leaves the globe and enters the sky. See : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333064 I think that this is a recent regression introduced by https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/k ... 1e4b359fb5 Correction : i just tried to revert the above fix and it did not fix the issue. Worse : the globe would not spin anymore. Issue 2 While dragging the globe, if the mouse moves over some floating items, then dragging stops. Dragging will resume when the mouse leaves that floating item. Not all floating items exhibit that behavior. See : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=327666 The above issue targets the NavigationFloatItem but the comment I added generalizes it. This issue might be related in some way : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324862 The idea of this post is to centralized globe dragging issues and start a discussion on how to best address them. Regards, Philippe. |

Interesting suggestions - and certainly something that could be done as a junior job.
