Cmake problem with Marble

Sat May 03, 2014 4:49 am
In building Marble from git, I get the following cmake error message that I do not really understand: :-(

Code: Select all
Found Qt4: /usr/bin/qmake (found version "4.8.3")
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:98 (MESSAGE):
  ERROR: cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake not found in
  /home/willem/.kde/share/apps;/usr/share/kde4/apps
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  CMakeLists.txt:116 (find_package)

This is what I have at ~/.kde/share/apps:

Code: Select all
willem@willem-Precision-M4700:~/.kde/share/apps$ ls
amarok         digikam  k3b        kcookiejar   krdc   kwallet
desktoptheme  dolphin  kconf_update  kfileplaces  kssl   RecentDocuments

How do I solve this problem?? Any help would be wonderful.

Assuming you are using a Debian based system, installing the package kdelibs5-dev should correct this issue.

Another option is to pass -DQTONLY=TRUE to cmake which will result in no KDE support (bin/marble-qt will still be created of course). We'll fall back to that at some point in the future automatically.
